Finally, the new year will bring some new films into the theatres, the most awaited eye treat. So, what are the top Telugu movies to expect in 2022? Let’s crack the list.
RRR:
Probably one of the most awaited films since forever; RRR is finally happening on the big screens soon. The movie is all set to hit theatres on January 7, 2022. The movie cast and crew are already doing their promotions in full swing. Flopless director Rajamouli, ace story-writer Vijayendra Prasad, Heroes JR. NTR and Ram Charan are the most significant assets of the film. It is a magnum opus releasing in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, & Hindi. It will be the first straight Telugu movie for Alia Bhat. The film also has star cast like Ajay Devgan, Shriya Saran, Olivia Morris, Rey Stevenson, and Samuthirakani. Are you excited?
Radhe Shyam:
Radhe Shyam was initially set for a July 2021 release if not for a pandemic. But as you know, the rest is history. The makers now planed a new release date, and Radhe Shyam will say hello to you on January 14, 2022. A period movie – Radhe Shyam stars Prabhas and Pooja Hegde in the lead role. Director Radha Krishna Kumar has written and directed this movie. Though a debutant director, the visuals seem beyond magic. The film will simultaneously release in all South-Indian languages and Hindi.
Bheemla Nayak:
The makers of Bheemla Nayak, starring Power Star Pawan Kalyan and Rana, announced that the film would hit the screens on February 25, 2022. The recent release of the motion teaser and other lyrical took the internet storm. The film is directed by Saagar K Chandra, who pulled together a stellar cast. Besides Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati, the film also stars Nithya Menen, Aishwarya Rajesh, Ravindra Vijay. Presented by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi, the makers recently apologized for the delay in the movie release. So, let’s hope February is locked well for theatres to have that power pack experience.
Acharya:
The Chiranjeevi & Ram Charan starrer Acharya is reportedly releasing on February 4, 2022. The movie casts Kajal Aggarwal and Pooja Hegde in lead roles. Koratala Siva directs the movie. The trailer has been well received. Chiru fans have eagerly awaited the film’s release for a long time now. Regina Cassandra has also been enlisted for a special song. Sarkaru Vaari Paata:
Mahesh Babu starring Sarkaru Vaari Paata, fills this list with fifth place. Helmed by Parasuram, the film pulls Keerthy Suresh as the leading lady. The movie is set for an April 1, 2022 release. So far, Mahesh has only worked with well-versed directors. With this film, he’s sending his fans a message of something new and unique making on its way.
