Basic storyline of Brahmotsavam:
The film is based on the story of family, who live together happily, cherishing every moment like a festival. The plot surrounds on the lovable and responsible image of Mahesh Babu. The film’s official launch got Addala to speak up about the theme of the movie, which asserted that the story is all about keeping one’s family happy. The positive characters of the film are basically seen to take care of every worry of others in the family. Celebration of family values, as well as traditions serves to be the main plot of the movie. The basic storyline of this movie is not a complex one rather than emotional twist and tweaks by focusing ray on the fading relationships and attitudes. The language of this movie is looks like semi urban and no dialogue has been inserted in some places of this movie when visual speech takes the role to lead the movie ahead.
First and second half drama:
First half of this movie includes joint living system of family, selflessness, harmonious perception of life, unconditional love and respect for elders and many more. Nevertheless, in the second half after break, the whole story is up to the hero’s effort in order to find out his roots. However, the storyline of searching across the generations makes to lose interest but it was feasible for the director to describe his view with better techniques and presentations. In fact the director misspends a path of achieving the summit of success through this movie. Heavy hangover has been observed in this movie by Srimantudu and SVSC in this film, Brahmotsavam.
Dialogues and action:
Dialogues of this movie in second half are relatively lengthy and needlessly obscure in nature. However, in most of case, Mahesh Babu has become the enchanting factor in this movie which has dragged the story plot ahead. The character he had played is neither consistent nor aggressive. The second part of Brahmotsavam is conceiving a quite small action and Revati returns in this part almost in the last scene of this story while she disappeared suddenly after husband’s death.
Review of Brahmotsavam:
However, the review of this film has not earned a huge success. The story line is not so much strong according to the critics and the audiences raised the question about the act of Mahesh Babu in such a void story. Samantha gets praise for her well played role in a particular heritage as well. It has been found that for long one hour and ten minutes the movie is just played meaninglessly while the Rao Ramesh makes the audience to follow the next half with better interest. Nothing new body language and expressions are offered by Samantha.
