Raja Cheyyi Vesthe is expected to have a strong box office trend in trhe weekend. As the reviews and ratings are going strong.
Raja Cheyyi Vesthe movie trailer review
Busy year for Nara Rohit. Nara Rohit is having the biggest year in his career yet. With more than half a dozen projects still in his hand currently and with as many as nine releases in 2016, Nara Rohit is making headlines in the Telugu film industry for all the right reasons, it seems. Of his recent films, the one that is getting the maximum hype is obviously Raja Cheyyi Vesthe, a movie said to be an out and out entertainer with lots of mind blowing action sequences. The film is being directed by Pradeep who is making his debut as a director with this film. Reports say that this film will feature Nara Rohit is a role with a lot of intensity. The scenes from the trailer have not failed to wow the audience and what has intrigued them more than anything is Nandamuri Tarakaratna’s casting as the chief antagonist in the film. At the audio launch of the movie last month in Vijaywada, not only was the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh present as one of the chief guests but so was politician and legendary actor Nandamuri Balakrishna as well.
Why the teaser worked
What has really worked for the fresh audio teaser of the movie is the new kind of role and look for both Nara Rohit and Taraka Ratna. People can’t wait for these two powerful actors in their respective roles go head to head on the silver screen. In the audio release teaser, Taraka Ratna has even outshone Nara Rohit’s character with his all powerful, mega image and also his dark shades. However, it is needless to say that Nara Rohit will stand toe to toe with him and deliver a powerful performance as well.
Not another mindless action flick
In today’s tollywood industry, action films are being produced in bulks but the audience seems to be fond of them and is more inclined to watch them than critically acclaimed, well meaning films with profound social messages. That is why these action flicks make a lot more money that more artistically rich films don’t. However, the makers of Raja Cheyyi Vesthhe want to give the film a fresh feel nevertheless and this is not another commercial mass entertainer with mindless action but a solid storyline and a lot of scope for philosophizing too.
Isha to impress too
Besides Nara Rohit and Taraka Ratna, Isha Talwar is also in the film and she plays a vital lead role and she is gearing up just as much to woo the cine goers once again. However, it seems we are going to see her in a somewhat different avatar than usual and it can be expected that in spite of the two male leads hogging most of the limelight and media attention, Isha will have sufficient scope to portray her acting skills and give a good and significantly important performance. The teaser also shows that Taraka Ratna has a rowdy gang of goons and Nara Rohit is sporting a beard. Only time can tell how the film will do at the box office but as for now, fans have enough reasons to be excited.
Raja Cheyyi Vesthe pre-release expectations
Not mindless action only. Nara Rohith is one of the busiest actors in Telugu film industry and has plenty of films lined up for release or being filmed this year. Rohit is particularly known for his unusual choice of films. Some may even call it diverse. However, right now perhaps no movie is more important to him than his next Raja Cheyyi Vesthe. Raja Cheyyi Veste has been in the news for quite some time and thankfully for the right reasons. The film, being directed by young director Pradeep, has created quite the buzz with it audio launch teaser. Even though it promises to be a powerful action packed film with the right and proportionate dosage of entertainment, fans expect this film to have a different, unusual and intriguing storyline. Since Balaya’s nephew and NTR’s grandson Taraka Ratna is playing the role of the villain, fans are expecting some really great action sequences and it will fun to see how his dynamic with Nara Rohith plays out in the film and gives it an extra kick.
Cast and characters to make a difference
Some experts and fans are even of the opinion that Taraka Ratna, with his larger than life persona in the film, might take away the lion share of the limelight from Nara Rohith. Even the trailers show him being in charge of a big gang of thugs and goons and will probably try reign down hell on Nara Rohit’s character.
Isha’s return
The fact that has also been instrumental in making people curious and excited about this film is Isha Talwar’s return to Tollywood. Between the time she did her last Telugu film and now, she has established herself as one of the lead female actors in not only Malayalam films but in the Tamil film industry as well. Her good looks, charm and apparently a slightly unconventional role of a software engineer battling with personal dilemma are sure to attract mass audiences to the theatre. It is important to note that Isha learnt how to rise bikes for this film and it is needless to say that her role won’t be overshadowed by the two lead actors.
Pressure on Rohith
Many critics and cine experts are saying that this film won’t be about mindless action only. It will also have an unconventional storyline with twists and unexpected turns. Many are assuming that this film is targeted at the NTR fans as Nara Rohit himself is a fan of his. However, the main responsibility for Rohit would be to deliver a solid performance and make sure that the quality of the film is not compromised in any way. In spite of doing multiple films over a short period of time, Nara Rohith has not managed to deliver a single hit last one year so this is his chance to change the course of his career and make a stunning turnaround. Many of his fans think that this will be his best work since Asura. Director Pradeep has high hopes for this movie and Sai Karthik’s music is also something many fans are looking forward to.
Raja Cheyyi Vesthe plot
Hype around upcoming film.Nara Rohit and Taraka Ratna are all set to lock horns in their upcoming film of this year ‘Raja Cheyyi Veste’. It is one of the most anticipated films of this year from down south and is already causing a big hype among the fans and the film fraternity. It is known that the film will be a really slick action film which would also serve the purpose of entertaining audiences across all age.
Interesting cast peaks interest
What has interested many fans and theatre going public in general is that Taraka Ratna is playing the role of the villain or chief antagonist in this film. Isha Talwar is also part of the movie as one of three main characters and plays the role of the female lead in the film. From whatever could be made out from the theatrical trailers, it is that Taraka Ratna is not only playing the villain but also has lots of grey shades in his character with a larger than life image. The fans are eagerly waiting for the showdown between the characters of Nara Rohit and Taraka Ratna.
More about the movie
The visuals from the film look stunning and it seems that a lot of money has gone in the technological aspects during the making of this film. If you were impressed and happy with Nara Rohit’s Rowdy Fellow, you are probably going to love this slick flick as well. However, till now the portrayal of Taraka Ratna’s character has overshadowed both Nara Rohit and Isha Talwar’s characters and he is attracting most of the attention with some really remarkable dialogues. The film is directed by new director Pradeep who is making his directorial debut with this project. Even though in the fiercely competitive movie market in Telugu film industry success is never guaranteed, fans believe that this film will be a great action entertainer as it has all the makings of a classic mainstream commercial flick. Nara Rohit is also a powerful performer and fans and cine experts believe that he will not disappoint either. Isha Talwar also has made quite a name for herself through her performances in films over the last few years and she is expected to rise up to the occasion and deliver a great performance that is likely to satisfy the fans too. Many fans are simply interested in seeing how the chemistry between Nara Rohit and Taraka Ratna pans out in the movie and that has been a major talking point till now.
Will Nara Rohit deliver?
Coming from a political family, Nara Rohit has really made himself quite a reputation with films like Baanam, Solo, Asura, Prathinidhi and Rowdy Fellow. He is a fan of NTR and also of Mahesh Babu and Prabhas. 2016 is going to be a pretty big year for Nara Rohit’s career as no less than nine films starring him are releasing this year. However, the actor is primarily concerned with the success and run of Raja Cheyyi Vesthe. Raja Cheyyi Veste is produced by Sai Korrapati and the music for the film is composed by Sai Karthik.
Isha turns biker chick for Raja Cheyyi Vesthe
Isha returns to Tollywood.Isha Talwar is finally ready to make her much awaited comeback to the Telugu film industry with Raja Cheyyi Vesthe after a gap of two years since Maine Pyar Kiya released in 2014. When asked about this, she stated that after Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde became successful, she was not getting good scripts in Tollywood. However, she added that it didn’t stop her from getting really attractive roles in both Tamil and Malayalam film industries and that is why she chose to work in those two neighboring states as those roles would naturally be much more profitable for his career.
About her role
In Raja Cheyyi Vesthe, she is playing the role of a girl who works in the tech industry as a software engineer. She also asserted that the role has depth and is not a flat character at all. According to Isha, the role that she plays in the film has a mean streak and there are other complicated internal emotions that she is going through. That is why she is searching for not only who she really is but also for the right and proper way to express all her emotions and doubts.
Working with Rohith and riding bikes
In her interactions with the media, Isha also complimented her co-star Nara Rohit who plays the male lead in the film. She said that she was thoroughly impressed by his dedication and ability to work hard for long durations. She added that she was surprised at how Nara Rohit managed to finish shooting his sequences for other projects in entirety and still made it to the sets of Raja Cheyyi Vesthe in time almost always. The actress from Mumbai was also visibly excited about the fact that she finally had the chance to learn how to ride bikes and that she got to do so in this film. She said that she had been planning to ride bikes or at least learn how to for a long time but never found the opportunity but luckily she was taught how to handle and drive a two wheeler in this film only within twenty minutes. She commented that she had shot the whole sequence as a pillion with Rohith and what surprised her most that riding the bike was not as difficult or complicated as she thought it could have been. She was comfortable and confident throughout the performance and said that she thinks it is the beauty of the cinema that it teaches actors and actresses so many different things in such a short time.
Faith in the director
She also had great things to say about Pradeep who is the debutant director in this film. She said that the fact that he is so young and new as a director was a big advantage because his ideas were fresh and more importantly, since he has had experience of working as the assistant director with so many big directors for so long in the past that he was not only confident of what he wanted but exuded a lot of optimism on the sets as well.
Raja Cheyyi Vesthe censor report
Much pressure on lead actor. It can’t be denied that Nara Rohith really has his hands full this year. With so many movies releasing in one year, the pressure has got to get to him. His last two films Tuntari and Savitri both had tanked badly at the box office so the pressure to deliver more with Raja Cheyyi Vesthe is even more. However, till now the film has not caused any unnecessary controversies and the makers of the film are taking it as a good sign. Taraka Ratna and Nara Rohith both had not failed to impress in the audio launch teasers and the trailers have wowed many of the fans.
Film gets U/A rating
Since, it is an out and out action film, there were concerns about the approval of the censor board. Action films have caused much controversies in the past and in many cases they have had adverse effects on the psyche of the younger generation and have even caused serious accidents and injuries. However, luckily this film completed all the censor formalities in time and is set to hit the big screen in grand fashion on April 29th, this Friday. The film has got a U/A rating from the regional censor board.
What it means
Now in India these ratings can mean many different things. While ‘U’ rating means audiences from all age groups can watch it without any regulation or recommendations and ‘A’ rating means it can be only watched by appropriate audiences, U/A usually means that the film can be watched by both adults and children but there might be a few scenes where the child needs parental guidance to understand or perceive the content in a proper and fruitful way. This U/A rating will give the movie a much needed boost as more audiences coming mean clearly translates to more profit and Nara Rohith can really do with some box office success at this juncture of his career.
What’s at stake
Not only Nara Rohith, but the success and acceptability of this film matters a lot to three other leading cast and crew members involved with this project. Firstly, a big box office hit with his very first project will definitely give new filmmaker Pradeep the much needed launch pad for his career. Pradeep is a young director with lot of exciting ideas and bright promise and has been working with many renowned directors for many years in the Telugu film industry. This has not only given him sufficient experience but also proper exposure to the film making business. If this film isn’t accepted by the mass well, it can very well cause a dent in not only his career but also his confidence. Taraka Ratna also want to leave a mark with his performance in the role of the villain. So far, he has impressed in the trailers and his look certainly looks very appealing. Isha Talwar needs a big hit too as she makes her return to Tollywood almost after three years. However, the film holds a lot of promise and in all likelihood will score big at the box office and impress the critics as well.
