New innings for father son duo
When it came to producing Aadi’s film Garam, producer Sai Kumar has banked solely on faith. He has stated that he trusted the capabilities of Madan, who is directing the film. He also asserted that he believes that the success or failure of a film is greatly determined by its soul. It is the soul of the movie that the audience connects with and he felt that this film has that. He was very glad that his son Aadi chose a script of merit. This is the first production venture for Sai Kumar’s production house Sreeniva Sai Screens. However, this puts enormous pressure on Aadi as he is working under his father’s banner for the first time. The fifty five year old producer expressed happiness about the fact that Aadi has been incredibly disciplined and punctual and it has been immensely easy to work with him. He also felt that it is the lead actor’s responsibility to lead by example and elevate the moral of the entire crew.
Aadi plays the role of protagonist Varala Babu, a character with Rajahmundry roots. This is why Aadi had to seek his wife Aruna’s help in his preparation for the role, especially his idiosyncrasies and slangs. He even visited Rajahmundry himself and noticed that the members of the youth there had a fondness for really vibrant colored clothing and usually wore shirts with their collars turned up. This is why he took the help of his friends of Rajahmundry for further details.
A star unique in his own way
Even though his father was known for his dialogues, Aadi tries his best to retain and maintain his own individuality and stated that he has his own style and even though a figure like Sai Kumar inspires him greatly, there is no such considerable influence on him. Sai Kumar, a great actor himself, has been really impressed with his son Aadi’s journey as an actor. He believes that Aadi has grown through each of his performance prior to this and even though in Garam, he took up a role unlike any other, he didn’t compromise with the quality of his acting even in the most emotional of scenes.
Actor Aadi has stated that it is not a traditional romantic comedy but a wholesome family entertainer and the audience will be greatly surprised when they visit their nearest screens to watch the film. The father son duo has chosen to watch it in a single screen theater along with the entire crew.
