Sunil Das was among one of the most talented artists in the South Indian art community. He was living at Hyderabad with the legacy of his art behind him. Now he is regarded as one of the most well known faces of the industry. He was quite old at the moment. However, very sad news met the art community just a few days previously. The sad news of Sunil Das’s demise met the art circuit and the city with shock and disappointment. The city has been left with a grieving soul and mind at such a huge loss. The main reason for the death has been confirmed to be a massive heart attack. The great artist was met with a heart attack on Monday. At the time he was aged 76. Hence, he was old and suffering from heart conditions already. However, this did nothing to diminish the pain and the trauma of the art lovers in the city. Especially affected were those who were close to him or appreciated his art.

He recalls that he visited the artist many times and even made a trip to a workshop in Japan together. However, according to him the best experience was the workshop arranged by him in 2007. There the artist attended the workshop. Later on they went on a travelling spree extensively. The artist used to call him his love. According to the film maker he was a great and a wonderful human being at heart. He always lived his life the way he wished to without any complications. There was only pure joy in his heart. This particular view of the artist is shared by many who knew him personally and were acquainted with him.
