Lingaa music launch event
Rajinikanth’s latest Lingaa Telugu Movie is hitting this friday across the globe. It is the latest project of the superstar. After the blockbuster movie Kochadaiiyaan, Rajinikanth signed the movie. It is directed by K.S. Ravi Kumar. His last movie was directed by his daughter Soundarya only. Linga is also written by the lionized director. Again Rajnikanth will be playing double role. For the third time in his career Rajinikanth will be seen playing double characters. In the films, Robo and Kochadaiiyaan he played dual roles. Robo starred Miss World Aishwariya Rai Bachan and Kochadaiiyan featured the famous actress Deepika Padukone.
Casting
Rajinikanth plays two different roles in the movie Lingaa. The leading actress in the movie is Sonakshi Sinha and the South Indian actress Anushka Shetty. Sonakshi confirmed about this project this August.
Production
Rockline Venkatesh is the producer of the grand project. Rockline Venkatesh also produced a Tollywood movie named Power. The movie features Mass Raja Ravi Teja Hansika and Regina Cassandra. For the film Lingaa, Rajnikanth plays two different roles for the two different actress.
Music direction
A.R. Rehman is composing the music of the film Lingaa. For the fourth time he is music directing a film for Rajnikanth. Shivaji, Robo and Kochadaiiyaan are the previous ventures of A.R.Rehaman. All the past musical ventures were super hit. The audio of the film released on sixteenth of November, 2014. All the arrangements of the audio release was planned and executed by Rockline Venkatesh. In Chennai, Rajnikanth unveiled the audio of the film.
Shooting
From 1st May 2014 after the traditional puja ceremony the main photography started in Mysore, Karnataka. Sonakshi Sinha and Rajnikanth jointly took part in the shooting sessions. At the Chamundeshwari Temple in Mysore, the muhurat shot was filmed. Melukote, Manuvana , Chamundi Hills, Mysore Palace and Pandavapura are few of the locations were the film was shot. Within 10th May, Sonakshi Sinha completed her shooting for the first schedule. Both the hero and the heroine shot some scenes of the ancient British era on 18th May. The scenes were shot on the residential location of the palace. 50 policemen and 30 bouncers were present on the set. They were guarding it from the spectators. In the shot, horses were also used. At Jog Falls also a scene was shot. At Ramoji Film City the movie was shot for two months. Annapurna Studios was also used for shooting of Lingaa. Anushka and Rajnikanth shot the scene there. At Hyderabad a news was spread that Rajnikanth fainted on the sets of Lingaa.
It was accounted that 10 million is spared for the film’s climax. For ten long days the action sequence will be shot by Whittaker. Two of the sequence songs are shot at Chennai and Scotland. The film completed the shooting on 22nd September. Hope that Lingaa Telugu movie turns out to be another hit venture of Rajnikanth. Sonakshi Sinha is also having a great time this year as she has got few other projects to be hitting on the theater.
