There are a lot of upcoming releases in the South in the coming months. The news of Telugu movies has been abuzz for some time now about the speculations of Drushyam not passing the censor norms. ‘Drushyam’ is an upcoming Telugu film that has been directed by ace director Sripriya and has jointly been produced by Rajkumar Theaters Pvt. Ltd., Suresh Productions and Wide Angle Creations.
Featuring Venkatesh and Meena in the main lead roles, the film is a remake of the 2013 malayalam blockbuster Drishyam which had featured Mohanlal and Meena herself. Nadhiya is assuming the role attempted by Asha Sarath in the origina moviel. Sharreth was roped in to direct the music while S. Gopal Reddy and Marthand K. Venkatesh took care of the cinematography and picture editing respectively. Sripriya, who is the heroine of the flick is resplendent in all her colours and is set to dazzle the audience with her experienced acting prowess. Victory Venkatesh featuring Drushyam has finished control customs yesterday and is all situated to hit the theaters this week.
Story Gist
The story line of the film revolves around a typical common man who heads an upbeat family life. The film picks up pace when surprisingly, their life flips upside down after his family perpetrates a criminal act and the remaining part of the story rotates around the father’s endeavours to save his family from the harassments and troubles. The film’s main photography was started on March 8, 2014 in Hyderabad, Kerala. After which point the shooting of the movie proceeded at the beauteous locales of Araku Valley of Visakhapatnam. Some of the shots were also filmed in parts of Vizianagaram and Simhachalam. The pack up was done on June 8, 2014 finally again at Hyderabad. The film is officially booked for an all over release on 11th of July 2014 in movie theatres.
Censor secrets
The censor conventions of this Venkatesh and Meena starrer, ‘Drushyam’, were finished and the film has bagged a clean “U” declaration. The film will be hitting the screens on July 11th. There were much speculation regarding the fact whether the film will be able to clear the norms of the censor board but there was cause to rejoice all tensions were relieved in the matter.The motion picture got a clean “U” authentication from the censorship board and the producers of the film were very happy and relieved about it. Drushyam is the remake of the Malayalam thriller ‘Drishyam’ and yesteryear’s Meena will be seen playing her role opposite to Venky in this film. Attarintiki Daredi acclaim Nandiya is assuming the role of a cop in this film and SriPriya directed the motion picture. Suresh Productions banner is creating the film.
Now that all kinds of post-production work is over, the film is going to be released soon. The official date of release has been decided and the audiences are waiting excitedly to watch it. The first look of the trailer seemed promising enough and the general predictions say that it would do well.
