Naga Chaitanya on working with Deva Katta
Recently, Autonagar Surya, the collaboration between actor Naga Chaitanya and director Deva Katta was released. Though the movie did not manage to prove itself a hit due to its average script and poor second half, this movie definitely saw Chaitanya in a whole new light. So far, he has been criticised for his acting skills, but in this movie, he was seen handling the character quite well, and he also delivered some powerful dialogues very well. Apparently, he is gives a lot of credit for this success to Deva Katta. That is why, recently, he said that he is interested to work with Katta again if he gets the opportunity. The team of the film went through a lot of difficulties in terms of finances, which delayed the film’s release by about a year. But, keeping all that aside, Chaitanya has expressed that he would like to work with his director again. That is because he has learnt a lot about cinema from Katta while working on this film. Naturally, he has a lot of respect for Katta, which he himself admitted, and commends Katta’s commitment.

About Autonagar Surya
Autonagar Surya stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the role of the female lead against Chaitanya. Unfortunately, her contribution to the film has been very little. In fact, the film, despite a tight first half, has a weak second half, with the script full of unnecessary scenes and item songs which could have been done away with to give a better result. Besides, the film was also predictable and had a poor climax. But, Chaitanya’s performance has greatly improved.
