This year so far was mostly more concerned about the Lok Sabha elections 2014. Now that the elections are over and the results are out, time for reorganizing is on the cards and the political parties would try to focus on the road ahead. - Hema Malini
Hama Malini needs no introduction. She contested from the Mathura constituency with a Bharatiya Janata Party and won comfortably. The whole country is awaiting to see how the “dream girl” of the movie industry performs as a minister.
- Vinod Khanna
He is undoubtedly a superstar in the movie industry and emerged successful in the political stage as well. He contested from the Gurdaspur seat for the Bharatiya Janata Party and was miles ahead of his opponents. He has been a powerhouse for the party.
- Shatrughan Sinha
The Bollywood king did it again winning from the Patna sahib constituency pretty comfortable having contested with a Bharatiya Janata Party ticket.
- Kirron Kher
The versatile actress contested from Chandigarh with a Bharatiya Janata Party ticket and won comfortable defeating another actress Gul Panag from the Aam Aadmi party by a huge margin.
- Chirag Paswan
He is the son of the eminent politician Ram Vilas Paswan and although his stint in the film industry was short-lived, he has hit the political arena with a bang winning with a huge margin.
- Manoj Tiwari
The famous Bhojpuri star contested on a Bharatiya Janata Party ticket and won comfortably from the North East Delhi seat.
- Balakrishna-MLA
This famous actor contested from the Hindupur constituency with a Telugu Desam Party (TDP) ticket and won comfortably.

This famous actress saved the face of YSR Congress Party and won from the Nagari seat by a big margin.
- Murali Mohan
The actor contested on a Telugu Desam Party ticket from Rajahmundry seat and won comfortably.

The reputed comedian contested with a Telangana Rashtra Samiti ticket and won from the Andhole constituency.
- Moon Moon Sen
The Bollywood actress won comfortably having contested from the Bankura constituency with an All India Trinamool Congress ticket.
Unlucky losers
On the other hand, there are a number of stars who have not been successful in this election. Some notable names among this list are Gul Panag, Bappi Lahiri, Prakash Jha, Jaya Prada, Raj Babbar, Rakhi Sawant.
