It has been about 6 months since the shooting of the upcoming Telugu movie, Legend, has started in July, 2013, and the film is already under scanner. The film, directed by BoyapatiSrinu has Telugu heartthrob, NandamuriBalakrishna as the male lead, and will be seen romancing RadhikaApte and Sonal Chauhan of Jannat fame.Jagapathibabu has been roped in to play the negative role in the film. The film is being greatly awaited by the fans, who have been desperate for the first look of the film with baited breath for a very long time, especially after the rumours that Balakrishna is being cast with a new look by Boyapati.
To satiate the desire of the fans, the first look of the film was released as a New Year’s gift. It shows Balakrishna standing in front of the Safari car. The charismatic stance of Balakrishna in front of the majestic custom-made SUV has greatly excited most of the fans. As per the fans, the look gives a peep into the character that they should expect their loved actor to play in the movie. It seems as if the character and its look has been given to perfectly match the action-thriller genre of the film.
The film is the second time that Balakrishna and Boyapati are teaming up together after the film, Apte.
Though the larger section of the fans are happy and excited by the first look of the new film, there is also a second version of opinion by the fans who claim that there is hardly any difference in the look given to Balakrishna in Legend, from his look in Apte.
Fans have been waiting for a very long time for some news about the movie which is set to release in 2014 in the month of March, especially because they are used to seeing pomp and hype about Balakrishna’s movies. However, they have not received much, though news about the film has popped up every now and them. Earlier, the film’s controversy about not being able to get the permission to shoot in Dubai, reached the audience. Then, there was the news of Balakrishna getting hurt on the sets while shooting the action scenes for the movie. The fans of the film, which is currently shooting in Simhachalam temple, got anxious on hearing the news, but the doctors confirmed that there was not much to worry about.
Most of the fans seem to believe that their favourite, Balakrishna, is back once again, with ‘Legend’.
Apart from the official first look, there have also been several leaks of videos of the film, though the first video was supposed to be released in Sankranthi. The title tracks of the film, as well as teasers of the film, have been found online. Naturally, the fans, who had their eyes set on the first release of the much awaited film, are extremely excited by all this. They are now waiting eagerly for the official release of the music which is being compose by Devi Sri Prasad.
