This film was touted as one of the game changers in Tollywood because it was a true historical made with an ambitious budget. Given the fact that we are now living post bifurcation, the film garnered attention in the Telangana state. However, despite all the hype and the best efforts of the protagonist Anushka, the film lacked the punch and intensity of a proper historical. Moreover, a comparison with Baahubali also played an impact on the effect of this film. Despite all the challenges, the film did manage to make it to the safe zone.
