There is a general belief that content is always the king and films survive only on that. But in Tollywood, there are few filmmakers who have the knack to come up with something very routine but the way they treat and execute the film makes the whole difference. This is one such movie. Though it came out with the formula of horror comedy, the execution and the deft handling of the script appealed to the audience especially the masses in a big way. Due credit goes to the technical standards of the film. Here again, the film was made with a very minimal budget and barely any big names in the cast, but owing to the treatment and the energetic screenplay, the film worked and became a surprise blockbuster.
