Call it the effect of sentiment or a film made poorly, Kick 2 had the most positive vibe prior to its release and due credit for that goes to the blockbuster hit that Kick was. The first edition also gave a very strong image to Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja and he came in with all gusto. But that is not the case with audience. They treat every project individually and if it doesn’t contain the material, they vote it down. So, Kick 2 had the worst opening response and it took just three days to decide that the film has tanked. The concept of ‘Comfort’ used in the movie proved to be an overdose.
